Arbor Opera Theater will be giving four performance of Bizet’s opera Carmen June 16-19. I will be performing in the pit orchestra as second clarinetist. The performances will take place at Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor. For more details, visit Arbor Opera Theater’s web site.
On Tuesday, May 17, Director Kevin Cort and the South Lyon High School Bands will present a concert beginning at 7pm in the South Lyon High School Auditorium. I will be performing with the Wind Ensemble as soloist on Rossini’s Introduction, Theme, and Variations. Come support these talented young musicians!
This Saturday, May 7, I will be performing Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No. 1 with the Livingston Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be held at the Shalom Lutheran Church in Pinckney, MI beginning at 8pm.
Other repertoire on the program includes Verdi’s Nabucco Overture and Mendelssohn’s 5th Symphon.

Tomorrow (Sunday, April 17) at 3:00 pm Eastern, the MSU Wind Symphony and the Spartan Youth Wind Symphony perform at the Wharton Center. Composer John Mackey will be in attendance to introduce his works. For those who are unable to attend, there will be a webcast of the concert on banddirector.com. Check it out online or in person!

One new feature on this site is the teaching & performance calendar. It is currently under construction, but once updated it will contain my specific teaching schedule as well as performance dates.
